The New Neutral

Out with the old and in with the new... or should I say gray? For years, many considered a neutral colour pallet to consist of variations of beige and brown. From flooring and walls to cabinetry and furnishings there was no limit to the shades of beige to choose from. Fortunately, times have changed and the era of beige is over and been replaced with clean, fresh variations of gray.

These days home owners are opting for gray as the primary colour of their homes. A gray colour schemes offers light to a seemingly darker room and a fresh, clean feeling to a space. Manufactures have created an abundance of new products such as flooring, cabinetry, finishes, countertops, and much more.

Unlike beige and brown there is no limitation to secondary colour options. Gray offers many opportunities to introduce new colours into your home. Some of my personal favourites being navy blue an yellow! So if you are looking for a change the new neutral is the way to go.
